  • This is a 5K run/walk. A 5K is 3.1 miles. You can walk, run, dance, or roll - it's not about who crosses the finish line first, its about coming together, making a difference and supporting a good cause. The money raised from this event will be donated to the Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation.

  • The event will be held at Rockland State Park Lot One The address is 299 Rockland Lake Rd. Congers, NY 10989

    The event will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Please arrive no later than 8:30 AM for check-in and opening ceremony, as the race will begin promptly at 10:00AM!

  • Same day registrations are welcome at full price ($45) until 8:30AM on race day. However, same day registrationss are not guaranteed a t-shirt, bib, or event merchandise. Register before the early bird deadline to secure your spot.

  • Please arrive no later than 8:30AM. This will allow you time to pick up your race bibs, sign your injury waiver sheet, get your goody bags, stretch and head to the starting line! The run will begin promptly at 10AM.

  • Please park in Parking Lot 1 when you arrive at the park, there is a $10 fee for parking after 8AM. You will see the Registration table and starting line. 

  • Please bring your ticket confirmation (printed or digital) to the registration table when you arrive.  Water and light snacks will be available. We ask that you keep any valuables in your car.

  • You can donate online  or send checks payable to St. Mary’s to: 66 E. Maple Avenue Suffern, NY 10901.

  • Goodness, no! We know not everyone enjoys running. You can run, jog, walk, skip or hop your way to the finish line! It’s not about crossing the finish line first; it’s about being active, having fun and standing up for a cause.

  • Dress comfortably and in running gear/sneakers! It will be fall, so the weather may be a little chilly. 

  • This event is for everyone – of all ages and abilities. Feel free to bring strollers for young children/babies - the course is paved.

  • Yes! You can make it a group effort – gather together your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc. and form a team to raise money and run together! For more details and instructions on how to create team pages, please contact stmarysfallclassic5k@gmail.com. We’ll walk you through it and link you to our site.
